Today's journal page is a visual diary of what I ate during the day. I truly believe that I'm onto something here. I will call it "The Artist's Diet."  If you know that you will A) have to draw what you are about to eat, you will probably avoid high-carb things like pasta or complicated sandwiches or even non-colorful foods like mashed potatoes and deep-fried breaded or battered items, and B) you will probably lose your appetite a little bit by the time you finally allow yourself to eat. Seriously. I went to the fridge a couple times today, knowing full well that if I pulled something out to snack on, I'd have to draw it because that was my plan today. It apparently worked: note the lack of snacks in my montage here. Hmm.
