Today's post is a "Life Map" journal page. This type of journal page is artistic, sure, but it's really more of an Art Therapy thing. Art, I believe, should not only be something that others can enjoy, but something that benefits the artist as well. In today's entry, my work is about diagramming my youth. My youth was spent moving all over because my dad was in the military. Sure, it was hard on all of us, and it has impacted us all in different ways. But, I believe I would not be the person I am today if I had not come from this background and had not met the people I've met and experienced the different areas of this country that I did. My parents did a stellar job considering the hardships of this kind of life. Thanks, Mom and Dad. I love you.
