It's a good day in northern Illinois. A little gloomy, but I already had coffee with a good friend--great conversation and inspiring plotting for future projects! Also went to the post office and had my credit card denied because it said "See ID" on the back and therefore wasn't signed (even though I was showing my ID to the clerk. Um...what?!! Then, I went home and COMPLETELY cleaned and remodeled my studio and office areas. Damn that feels good! Relaxing now with a cup of coffee, and fully intend to celebrate OCTOBERFEST with my next beverage!

Today's prep page is simply a test to see how much I could get my gel pens to bleed with just water. So, I swirled them around a bit and sprayed the page. It feathered a little, but not as much as I thought it would in some spots. So, I muted it a little with some scraped white acrylic paint. You'll have to wait until tomorrow to see how the page is finished!
