Today's journal page is dedicated to one of the most beautiful women I know. My mom. This picture of her is from her twenty-somethings. She still looks like she could be my sister. (I am so lucky to have received some of her genes.) My mom has the face of a thirty-year-old, the spirit of a child, and the voice of an angel. She is singing her heart out in this picture, and that will always be one of my best memories of my mom. She sang to us often as kids, even if it was in the form of a smart-ass remark.Patsy Kline's Crazy was one of her favorites. I've attached a video link here of her and my sister last spring doing karaoke. Check it out! LOL, I love you mom!
